GHK-Cu: check the product form before comparing

Separate a copper peptide ingredient, a finished skin product, and a research material when reading a listing.

RateMyLab editorial·

What does GHK-Cu mean?

GHK-Cu is a copper peptide complex, also listed as copper tripeptide-1 or prezatide copper. Check the names in PubChem’s compound record.

Are a skin serum and a vial comparable?

Compare the finished formulation and intended use first. For a skin product, check the full ingredient list, concentration if disclosed, and bottle volume. For laboratory material, check chemical identity, quantity, purity, and batch documentation. Keep those comparisons separate.

What about injectable GHK-Cu?

The FDA identifies limited human safety data and potential immune-reaction risks for compounded injectable GHK-Cu. Read the FDA’s injectable GHK-Cu entry. A topical product’s label or a research certificate does not establish that a product is suitable for injection.

What if the concentration is missing?

Ask the manufacturer. Price per bottle can compare package cost, but it cannot tell you the cost per amount of GHK-Cu without a disclosed, comparable concentration.
